Everything in Its Right Place
This may be the most valuable document for any site. The page detail
tables show every element on every page of the site. The page table
identifies each component type (graphic, text, animation) and any
linking or file locations. It shows all the copy, including labels,
buttons, and form elements. It also lets you track versions of all
content.
The following sample is from
the page guide for the Hotwire
Interactive web site.

Development teams love this document because it clearly lists all
content and components of the site. They can use the reference numbers
to track their progress.
During the content gathering phase, the page tables identify any
missing content, especially the items that are easy to forget such as
forms and buttons. Finally, the page table serves as a document for
change management during all phases of the project.

schematics, and menu structure.
